Sweet Potatoes and Chubby Legs

Jackson tried his first solid foods today (sweet potatoes). This little Michelin tire baby is growing fast!

Bucking Horse

Bucking Horse Sale weekend was lots of fun ... the weather was beautiful and we spent some time with great friends. Seth (one of Barrie's buddies from dental school) and his fiance, Kate, came out to visit from Pennsylvania. Jackson loved his first BHS, but dozed off for part of it ... :)

Mother's Day

My mother's day was filled with lots of hugs and kisses and laughs with my sweet Jackson. I also got a few kisses from my other baby, Breezy.

Five Months and Counting

Jackson is now five months old! He LOVES to smile and laugh, and is getting even more handsome every day. He likes to play with toys, listen to music (Go Fish Guys are the greatest), and have books read to him. But most of all, he likes to be held, cuddled, and loved.

4.0 Mom?

A little addition to the post below. The grades are in, and I got my first B in my masters program, with a 3.94 average. So, Barrie owes me a back rub (we had a little bet going ... he bet that I would get all A's). I have decided I am okay with my less-than-4.0 average because, as my mom says, Jackson would give me a perfect 4.0 as a mom! Now THAT is one of the most important report cards of all :)
