My mom (aka my best friend) has a birthday today! She, Dad, and Bret are coming to visit later this month and we can't wait. Jackson misses his Nana!

Anna is half-way through Student Teaching! This has been an absolutely INCREDIBLE experience so far. I couldn't imagine having a more awesome mentor teacher or a better bunch of kids. My mentor has nothing but nice things to say and the second-graders have accepted me right into the classroom. One sweet boy told me that I seem "just like a real teacher." Now, if I were being paid, I would really be like a real teacher ... maybe (hopefully) next year!
