Pumpkin Carving!

Jackson and Bev get ready the pumpkins ready while Breezy wishes she were in the kitchen! Poor daddy was outside mowing up the leaves, it was 37 degrees out, burrrrrr - he got 11 bags:)

Preschool

Jackson is loving preschool. His favorite part is getting to play out on the playground at the beginning of each day. So far, he's learned a lot (colors, numbers, insects, scarecrows, etc.) and has made some fantastic new friends. This week was his turn to bring snack ... we picked out orange crackers and carrots in honor of the color of the week. Mama's been watching through the one-way mirror and has been impressed with the way he listens to the teachers (well, at least most of the time), answer questions, and remember the classroom procedures. College, here we come!

One Month

This little lady is one month old today! Already, we can't imagine life without her. Thanks to God for the blessing of a happy family!

First Bath

Adelyn had her first tub bath the other day. She is still wearing newborn-sized outfits, but is growing fast! She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces at her doctor's appointment on the 16th.

Good news! Adelyn's eye is SO much better! When the infection went down, we noticed that the bump that had been caused by the blocked tear duct was gone ... what a BLESSING!

Baby Love

More than a week after the arrival of our sweet Adelyn, we are loving life with two children. Anna's mom is visiting from Virginia and has been absolutely wonderful ... how nice to have some extra help! 

Adelyn has seen Dr. Young twice since leaving the hospital. On Wednesday, September 26th, she weighed 5 pounds, 3 ounces. On Tuesday, October 2nd, she was up to 5 pounds, 12 ounces! The poor little darling has conjunctivitis in one eye as well as a blocked tear duct ... she looks pretty beat up :( Prayers for the little girl are welcome!
