Addie Doesn't Have Teeth

Speaking of loving his little sister ... 

Jackson has been concerned lately that Addie is missing out on the yummy treats he gets. He'll say "Addie doesn't have teeth yet, so I'll save her this ____" (fill in the blank with chicken mcnugget, eggo waffle, yogurt, apple, or any other of his favorite foods). Well Addie, we can't actually save you any of these, but here's a photo of a cupcake Jackson made for you today!

Big Brother, Little Sister

I'm always asked, "So, what does big brother Jackson think of his little sister?" I just don't know how to express how much this little boy ADORES his baby sister. As I write this, he is snuggled up next to her on her blanket on the floor, saying 'oh, my sweet Addie' and practically smothering her with kisses. He is always thrilled when he gets a smile out of her (and she is always smiling when she sees him). Sometimes when we get up in the morning, Jackson has already climbed in Addie's crib just to ooh and ahh over her. I'm thankful that our little girl has such a loving big brother!

Jackson's First Communion

Today is a special day! Jackson had his First Communion at church this morning. He and eight other sweet children have been meeting with Pastor Rice for the last few weeks to prepare. As usual, Mama had the camera on hand to capture every moment.
