Little Buddies

Jackson and his best pal have grown up knowing each other and are great friends. A few weeks ago, I was getting him snuggled into bed when he said "Mama, I asked her to marry me but she said she doesn't want to." Oh, I could tell his soft little heart was hurting, but his glum little face was sure sweet. He adores that girl! We had a talk about how she is a precious friend, but that God might not have in in the plans for him to marry her ... and besides, they have at least twenty or thirty years before talking marriage anyway, right?! Well, the darling girl tells her parents in the car the other day that she has thought things over and has decided that maybe she WILL marry Jackson and that she thinks he'd be a pretty good husband! Melts my heart! We'll see what life has in store for these two, but we sure are thankful for their sweet friendship!!!
