Jamboree!

Miles City hosted our annual Termite, Mite and Squirt Jamboree this weekend! Coach Daddy and Secretary Mama put in lots of time getting ready (actually, Daddy put in sooooo much more time than anyone!). Jackson and Addie had fun playing!

We had a roller skating party for all the players, coaches, and families.

This isn't from the Jamboree. At a recent practice, Jackson got to meet hockey hall-of-famer Larry Murphy.

Birthday Fun

Mama turned 34 on January 27th! Thanks to Nana, we had lots of party supplies and yummy cupcakes! Mama got two beautiful bouquets from Daddy and one of her good friends. What a wonderful day!

The Matthews family traveled to Glasgow for Mite and Termite games! Addie 'played' in her very first game ... she lasted about 30 seconds, but she was so proud of herself!

The Elf

Addie and Jackson had an Elf on the Shelf come visit us this year. They named him Jack and his Reindeer friend is named Jackie. The naughty elf turned up in some silly spots in December. Here are just a few:

Last Day of Vacation

Mama and the kids went adventuring in the backyard snow today to celebrate our last day of Christmas vacation! Tomorrow we go back to school and daycare!

Christmas in Virginia

Christmas vacation means traveling to Virginia! As usual, we were delayed getting there, but getting home is always worth dealing with the headaches of flying. The weather was super warm ... almost up to 80 one day. Nana had cleaned and decorated our Virginia House, while Uncle Bret and Granddaddy had set up a Christmas tree for us. The whole visit was just perfect. We loved every memory made with the Sterling and Mills families!
